2024 Preliminary Contests

Images of the King will be returning to Memphis with events from August 9-16 during Elvis Week 2024 and we are very pleased to announce that we’ll be moving all of our Images of the King Elvis Week events to historic Dad’s Place on Brooks Road and accommodations will be available at the newly updated Travelodge attached to the venue.

Moving to Dad’s Place will allow us to continue the tradition of great Elvis entertainment that’s been taking place at the venue/hotel for decades, will give us more space for guests and more time to enhance the great line up of entertainment.

But wait there’s more… on Saturday, August 10th from 9 AM until Noon we will be inviting all Elvis Week attendees to join us for a unique visit to the Southern Blues Equestrian Center in Collierville, TN (just 20 minutes from Graceland). See a different side of Memphis and join us and the center for a morning of “Memphis Magic.” There will be entertainment and you’ll have a chance to learn all about “BridgeUp GiddyUp,” an equestrian program for children from the Whitehaven Community which exists not only to provide access to personal development to the youth of Memphis, but also demonstrates to the world the magic that Memphis continues to produce!
